Local police yesterday arrested suspects believed to have beaten a man to death at a Shanghai subway station on Monday evening.
Four or five men attacked a man whom police identified as a vendor from Jiangsu Province at the Baoshan Station of Metro Line 3.
Witnesses said the suspects kicked the man repeatedly and fled after a final blow to the head.
The case is still under investigation, police said.
